Management

Rick Perosa – President

Mr. Perosa joined H.T. Lyons in 1995 and has served as President since 2001. Mr. Perosa began his career working for the Bechtel Power Corporation while earning a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Rick then worked as a Senior Project Manager with Limbach Company in Boston before returning to Pennsylvania, where he worked as the M.E.P Coordinator for R.M. Shoemaker Company, prior to joining H.T. Lyons.

In his role as President, Rick has overall responsibility for company safety and financial performance. He is also a member of the PPL Energy Services Leadership Team and responsible for strategic direction and coordination of the various PPL Energy Services entities.

Mr. Perosa is on the National Board of Directors of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America. He is a licensed P.E. in State of Pennsylvania.

Roeland F. Hoeke, P.E. – Vice President

Mr. Hoeke started with H.T. Lyons in May of 2000 and is responsible for all construction operations. He currently manages specific accounts and supervises all planning, fabrication, project management, construction and commissioning of health care, commercial, manufacturing, industrial, educational, and entertainment facilities. Mr. Hoeke oversees safety, recruitment, personnel development, and training at H.T. Lyons. He was previously employed as a Design/Build Contract Manager and Senior Project Manager for the Limbach Company in Pittsburgh, PA.

Roeland is a member of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council and also a LEED AP since 2002. He is a board member for Habitat for Humanity Lehigh Valley, a Trustee for Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 19 Pension Fund and serves on MCAA’s Career Development Committee. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and is a licensed engineer in Pennsylvania.

Chris Bernecker – Vice President, Preconstruction Services

Chris began his career at H. T. Lyons in 1988 as a cooperative education student in the Engineering Department. He became a full-time employee in 1989 as a design/build project manager with an emphasis on health care design and construction. His responsibilities increased over time to include business development and ultimately management of preconstruction services. Mr. Bernecker is currently responsible for the business development, estimating, engineering, energy services and purchasing functions of the Company.

Chris is a principal member of the NFPA Health Care Facilities Technical Committee on Mechanical Systems and also a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (American Hospital Association). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.

David McNally – Vice President, New York Region

Mr. McNally has been part of the PPL Energy Services group since March 2008. He is currently the Vice President of the New York Region where he is responsible for all Sales and Operations for the region. Prior to joining H.T. Lyons, Dave was with New England Air System for 8 years as Vice President and with McGill AirFlow where he managed all Northeastern operations.

Dave earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA from The State University of New York Albany. He is currently a member of ASHRAE and the Mechanical Contractors Association of the Capital District.

Lori Livesay – Corporate Controller

Working in the mechanical contracting industry since 1981, Lori Livesay has been H.T Lyons’ Corporate Controller since 2000. Her responsibilities include providing financial information at both a project and corporate level that guide the management team in their business decisions. With a varied background, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration from Moravian College. She is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association.

K. Scott Sine, P. E. – Director of Engineering and Energy Services

Mr. Sine has been the Chief Engineer at H.T. Lyons since August of 2000. He manages a variety of technical staff with a primary focus on Energy Services. Scott’s team is also responsible for the technical solutions of the design/build division of the Company. His team makes decisions in regards to field design, code, engineering, contract interpretation, and other design challenges.

Scott has over 14 years experience as a licensed engineer in Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED AP. Mr. Sine received his B. A. E. in Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.

John J. Torok – General Manager, Service Department

Mr. Torok has been with H.T. Lyons since 1998. He previously worked at PPL as an energy salesperson for their Energy Services division. He currently is responsible for the day to day sales activities and operations of the Service Department. His staff includes a number of Service Salespeople, a Special Projects team, a fleet of Service technicians and dispatch personnel. His primary focus is leading his staff to provide energy efficient solutions to the customer, as well as focusing on customer service.

John currently is on the Board of Directors of Service Contractors of Eastern Pennsylvania and Greater Delaware Valley and Chairman of LVCTI HVAC Steering Committee. He received an Associate of Science degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Buddy Kida – General Manager, Industrial Division

Mr. Kida has over 30 years of management experience in the mechanical construction field with profit and budgetary responsibility. His background includes experience with the power industry, chemical facilities, resource recovery plants, cogeneration facilities, food industry and commercial projects.

Buddy has been with H.T. Lyons since 1997 and is responsible for the operating performance of the Industrial Division including Sales and Marketing, Design Coordination, Project Planning and Scheduling, Estimating Review, Contract and Personnel Administration, Trade and Customer Relations and Project Performance. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University.

Marla Mazzocco – Business Development Manager

Ms. Mazzocco started with H.T. Lyons in September of 2009. She is primarily responsible for the development of several new energy efficiency programs and services for the Company and will help integrate these programs into Sales and Marketing to deliver new products and services to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets. She has over 10 years experience in the Construction industry beginning her career as a Sales Engineer for The Trane Company and later transitioned to an Executive Account Manager for the Philadelphia office. She is currently a member of IFMA and the DVGBC. Ms. Mazzocco has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
