For instance, in 2016, a summer picnic has been planned for all employees and their families at Coca-Cola Park, the Home of the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs Baseball Team. Several generations of the H. T. Over 20 committed members of the H.T. Lyons Adopt-A-Highway volunteer program, set out to clean up one of the busiest intersections of the Lehigh Valley, RT 100 and I-78.  On May 13, 2016, two shifts of associates, donned in their fluorescent safety vests, spent 4 hours filling over 35 bags of roadside litter.  That afternoon, their hard efforts were rewarded – “A Bacon Lovers Pizza” Fest was held in the company’s Cafeteria!

On April 27, 2016, H. T. Lyons’ administrative staff were given an impressive tour of one of the company’s current projects and then honored at a luncheon buffet.  Dick Issermoyer, PM, led the group through St. Mary of Providence, a stately retreat center in Elverson, PA. This former 76 room mansion, situated atop rolling hills and surrounded by acres of countryside, was built by Col. Joseph Potts and it served as a family summer home for many years.  After the family passed on, it was sold to developers; hence the conversion to a retreat center.

With a rating of 93, the Two City Center is now the Most Energy-Efficient Building in the Lehigh Valley and the Fifth-Highest Ranked in Pennsylvania in 2015. City Center Lehigh Valley, a major mixed-use development in downtown Allentown, announced today that its Two City Center building has earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) ENERGY STAR certification with a rating of 93, which signifies that the building outperforms 93 percent of similar facilities nationwide for energy efficiency.

H.T.Lyons hosted its first food drive for Second Harvest and had a fantastic success. Over TWO WHOLE VANS full of food was collected! The total donation weighed 1,065 pounds – a huge accomplishment for a first-time event. Thank you to everyone involved, including the organizers, vendors that supplied prizes, and everyone that contributed food.

DBSi first contacted H.T. Lyons in early 2010 for assistance in designing a cooling system for their new 256,000-square-foot Hosting and Recovery Center located at Tek Park, Breinigsville, PA. DBSi preferred the flexibility and speed of the Design/Build project delivery system compared to the traditional plan and spec method. On January 21, 2009, Governor Corzine signed legislation regarding Energy Savings Improvement Projects. The bill requires general contractors and energy service companies (also known as ESCO’s) performing public works activities under an energy savings improvement program, to be classified with the NJ Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC). Therefore, the DPMC has added the ENERGY SERVICES (ESCO) class code (C036) to its listing of construction classification trades.

On September 20, 2010, H.T. Lyons submitted its application for classification as an ESCO.  Included in the application was the identification of the current certifications, licenses and accreditations held by H.T. Lyons and its key personnel involved in Energy Services.  H.T. Lyons also described some notable Energy Services projects that demonstrate comprehensive experience with this type of work.  On September 27, 2010 H.T. Nine years ago, sanofi pasteur embarked on a plan to save energy, reduce emissions and lower maintenance costs by centralizing its steam and chilled water production, while preparing for company growth in Swiftwater, Pa.  Through two phases of a competitive RFP process, H.T. H.T. Lyons Inc. recently celebrated a remarkable record — 3 million man-hours worked without a lost-time incident. DSM Nutritional Products asked H.T. Lyons representatives to discuss its safety culture last month at DSM’s quarterly meeting. H.T. Lyons provides engineering, piping, process and sheet metal installation services at DSM’s plant in Belvidere, N.J., which makes bulk and specialty vitamin mixes and other nutritional products.
